Warm, round and juicy like a summer vacation – everybody, who has once played hide and seek in the garden of his grandmother knows the feeling of a freshly picked tomato. This is the taste which we strive to create when we prepare our tomato puree. It is indeed the taste which we achieve, but much more intense, since our puree contains a lot more (and only) tomatoes.
In general, the difference between tomato sauce and tomato puree is in the content and the body. In contrast to the sauce, there are no spices added to the puree, it is more concentrated and has a much thicker consistency. It is as healthy as a puree can get – made from a fruit, officially recognized as a vegetable.
