Made from organic fresh milk from the Balkan Mountains, the cream is famous for its high butter content.
We skim the milk in our Dairy in Malo Buchino and leave the hard work to the probiotic live cultures of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus to finish the job. The result – the sour cream is not only delicious but has high nutrition value and is easy on the stomach, too.

How it's made
The sour cream is a result of skimming fresh organic milk to produce our low-fat yogurt. It’s filtered through a membrane and pasteurized at 93°C. Then, to start the souring process, live cultures used to prepare our traditional yogurt are added. We leave the cream at a warm temperature (42-43°C) to continue the fermentation until it thickens. Once the cream is ready, we store it in a refrigerator to preserve the excellent taste.
