Our wheat sticks have fans of all ages, anywhere between 2 and 102 years old. They win hearts and palates not only with their crispy flavor but also because they’re made of pure ingredients. Driven to maintain the success the sticks have reached this far, we decided to refresh their recipe as well as their design. We proudly present to you everyone’s favorite wheat sticks harmonica, now with coconut oil!
Why we changed the recipe?
Until now for the recipe of the sticks and pretzels we used non-hydrogenated organic palm oil. This type of palm oil is made of a certified organic production and has no link to the irresponsible destruction of the tropical forests.
Unfortunately, the bad image of the mindless conventional production of palm oil affects the public reception of the sustainable organic production as well. Many fans of our wheat sticks reached out to us with concerns regarding the palm oil in the recipe.
Our team is just as good at listening as at telling stories. Your feedback was yet again crucial and we decided to create a new twist to the well-known sticks harmonica, substituting the organic palm oil with coconut oil.
Coconut oil without the coconut flavor
A favorite ingredient of the organic DIY Youtubers, coconut oil is proven to have precious qualities. It lasts long, it’s more resistant to heat treatment and cooking with it turns into a total pleasure.
we managed to make the new wheat sticks crunchy and crispy and just as tasty as always
Creating our new coconut oil recipe took some time and several trials. It was all worthy as we managed to make the new wheat sticks crunchy and crispy and just as tasty as always. The coconut oil that we used is made of certified organic coconuts and is filtered without the use of chemicals. That deprives it from the coconut aroma while preserving all of its nutritious qualities.
The sticks’ new recipe gave us a well enough reason to refresh their packaging as well, recreating it into a more playful design.
The new sticks harmonica with coconut oil come in 4 different options: wheat sticks, einkorn wheat sticks, wheat pretzels and wholegrain wheat sticks. And they’re all waiting for you to get them!
Driven to maintain the success the sticks have reached this far, we decided to refresh their recipe as well as their design.
