Cow butter

Soft, creamy and delicious.

We make all Harmonica dairy products from whole organic fresh milk. The only exception is the 2% yoghurt, thanks to which we have the great sour cream 12%. That’s why we couldn’t make Harmonica cow butter from Bulgarian milk. In our search for the best artisan butter, we came to Klaas De Lange’s dairy farm in the Netherlands. We chose it because it fully met Harmonica’s strict criteria for quality and responsible production. It is located in the Weerribben-Wieden National Park, where cows are raised in harmony with nature amid reed fields, meadows, water. For most of the year, the cows roam the lush meadows full of herbs and flowers. During the cold months, when the ground is too wet and there is not enough grass, they stay in the spacious barn. Next door is the small dairy where the butter is made.

What's in it

  • Our butter is made of 100% fresh cream from cow’s milk.
  • There is no salt, no stabilizers, no additives, no trans-fats, or other bizarre
    ingredients.

The butter color and thickness vary depending on the season and its characteristic vegetation. After all, the cows choose what and when to graze. In summer, the butter is slightly softer with a yellowish hue due to the qualities of the fresh grass growing on the pastures. In the winter, it’s lighter and thicker.
