Buttery Brownie with Hawthorn Fruit Spread

This crumbly, yet buttery brownie fascinates with its intense chocolate aroma and bold cinnamon-flavored apples. And as if that’s not enough, it’s covered with cream cheese and sour cream enriched by harmonica Hawthorn Fruit Spread. Could this pure temptation of senses be any more Bulgarian? Well, in fact, it can, so let’s abundantly spread roasted walnuts on top. Decadent enough? If you think yes, we’ll stop here.

This buttery brownie is made up of two parts – crumbly brownie with a rich chocolate flavor, covered with cream that tastes like magic.

 Ingredients for the brownie:

125 g harmonica Cow Butter
80 g harmonica Dark Chocolate
70 g Sugar
2 harmonica Eggs
120 g harmonica Einkorn Flour 
a pinch of salt

Ingredients for the cream:

1 package harmonica Cream Cheese (1 star Winner at 2020 Great Taste Awards)
120 g harmonica Sour Cream
50 g harmonica Hawthorn Fruit Spread
50 g walnuts
cacao powder

Melt the chocolate and the butter over a water bath and stir until well combined. Mix the eggs and the sugar in a bowl. Add the chocolate compound, the flour, and the salt. Stir until the batter is evenly mixed.  Pour into a tray with non-stick coating or simply cover the bottom with baking paper. Spread pieces of peeled apple bites rolled in cinnamon.

Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) for twenty minutes.

Mix all the ingredients for the cream and let it rest aside. Roast the walnuts in a pan and crush them.

Once the brownie layer has cooled, spread the cream. Sprinkle with cocoa powder and spread the walnuts on top.

It takes you 30 minutes to prepare it, and a decade to forget its taste. So roll up your sleeves, preheat the oven and get ready to become a legend.
