Our newest sweet invention is indescribably delicious, while at the same time it helping digestion and giving immunity a boost.
Let us introduce you to the newest, teeming with life (literary!) addition to the ranks of our harmonica products – a probiotic wafer with 1 billion added probiotic microorganisms. Yes, you got that right – a wafer with probiotics is our latest innovation. It combines pure ingredients with great taste and specific health benefits. Not typical for a wafer, right? The balance of intestinal microflora is an important factor in maintaining our overall health and normal functioning of the digestive tract. Probiotics are one of the most loyal workers for keeping this balance, as well as supporting a strong immunity. This precisely is the healthy side of our new wafer.
Let’s talk a little bit about the wafer itself.
We made it after the classical wafer, in order to achieve a happy medium between “tasty” and “healthy”. The new wafer contains specially selected probiotic cultures and probiotic fibers (inulin from agave). These fibers help the billions of tiny friends in our digestive system to multiply freely (and this is something we really want).
Our most exiting discovery
is that the wafer cream acts as a great medium for carrying and storing probiotics. They can exist in their latent form in it (i.e., half asleep and waiting for something to activate them) for several months! For them to be viable the beneficial microorganisms are added manually in our wafers in the moment most appropriate for them.
This discovery would not have been possible without the knowledge and experience of the scientific team led by Professor Zhechko Dimitrov. They have put a lot of time and effort into the selection of the most appropriate probiotic cultures and tracking its vitality. We are also grateful to the nutritionists Nadia Petrova and Magi Pashova for the suggestions and consultations, as well as to the chocolatiers Vinsant Gaillot and Lubo Yordanov for the numerous attempts of adding probiotics at the right moment.
